دۆد اکہ دمۓ یام ڈیوٹُھن شمع دل افروز

تس سٔتی مچھو کٔتی کریاے حیلہ بہانۓ

یا باو تس سُند ناو نتۓ ہاو نشانۓ

Pompuur chhu mashhuur ajab aashiq jaansoz,

Dodd aki damai yaam dyuuthun shama Dil Afroz.

Tass seeith machhev keeit karyaay heele bahanai,

Ya baav tassund naav natai haav nishanai.

Moth is famous strange tormentor of his soul,

Burnt instantly as soon as saw the candle, heart-illuminating.

Flies did a lot of tricks and ruses with him,

Either tell beloved's name or show his sign.
