مؠے چُھم در سیٖنہٕ للۂ وُن یِہ چونُے نار عشقو

ژٕ چُھکھ بے کیٖنہ بے شک مگر بے عار عشقو

Mey chhum darr seeneh lallawun yi choanui naar ashiqov,

Chi chukh be-keeneh beshak magar be-aar ashiqov.

My heart burns bright with your blazing fire, O love,

Without malice no doubt, yet still dire, O love.

خندے چٲنی آفتِ جان بندے بندٕ مؠے تٔرِم کان

رندن کیُتھ بلکہ طوفان یہ چون گفتار عشقو

Khandai chaaen aafat e jaan, bandai bandeh mey terim kaan,

Rindan kyuth balki toofan, yi choan guftaar ashiqov.

Kaan: کان : Arrows

Your smile, a tormentor, arrowed each joint with pain,

Your words, a tempest, stir the ecstatic’s vein, O love.

ژؠے تہ مؠے آشنٲیی اول ٲس ابتدٲیی

تیلے اوسُے فنٲیی یہ کُل سمسار عشقو

Chey ti mey aeshinaeyi awwal aaes ibtidaeyi,

Telli oasui fanaeyi yi kul samsaar ashiqov.

You and I, acquainted from the very start,

Even before the cosmos took its part, O love.

نظر چٲنی مثل جادو، اثر چُھس قتلِ آہو

گذر تتھ وُچھ مؠے ہرسو کران شیکار عشقو

Nazar chaen misl e jaadu, asar chhus qatl e aahu,

Guzar tath wuchh mey harsu, karaan shekaar ashiqov.

Aahu: آہو : Deer/antelope 

Your gaze is enchantment, like the antelope’s killer stare,

I’ve watched its subsistence on hunting preys a daily affair, O love.

ژٕ چُھکھ سارِنےٕ اندر طاق، ژے کُن عاشق چھہ مشتاق

چھہ چانے جلوٕ آفاق رٹتھ خُمار عشقو

Chi chukh saarinie andar taaq, chey kun aashiq chhi mushtaq,

Chi chaaney jalwe aafaaq, ratith khumaar ashiqov.

Distinct from all, lovers long for your embrace,

Your radiance intoxicates the skies with grace, O love.

ینے گوہم ژٕ پیدا، تنے کٔرتھس بہٕ شیدا

ونے کس چون سودا چُھہ کیوتھ دشوار عشقو

Yanai govhaam chi paida, tanai kerthas bu shaida,

Wanai kas choan sodaa, chu kyuth dushwaar ashiqov.

Since the time you dawned in me, you’ve made me reel,

Whom shall I tell the arduousness of your deal, O love.

گہے آہم بہ پرواز، گہے آہم ترکتاز

گہے آہم بصد ناز کبک رفتار عشقو

Gahay aaham ba parwaaz, gahay aaham turktaaz,

Gahay aaham basad naaz, kabk raftaar ashiqov.

Turktaaz: ترکتاز : Plunderer/Looter

Basad: بصد : In hundreds

Kabk: کبک : Partridge. It's gait is used by poets as an example to describe grace.

You came at times like a whispering breeze,

At times a plunderer, striking with ease,

At times with boundless grace you came,

Like the grace of partridge fame, O love.

مؠے آہم خۄردٕ سٲلی، گیم دیوانہٕ چٲلی

ژے چُھے اسم بنگٲلی سیٹھا زوروار عشقو

Mey aaham khordeh saeli, gayem dewaaneh chaeli,

Che chui ism bangaeli, setha zorwaar ashiqov.

Khordeh saeli: خۄردٕ سٲلی : Young age

Bangaeli: بنگٲلی : Of Bengal. Denotes famous black magic of Bengal.

You came to me in my youth, my ways turned wild and free,

Your name, O love, is magic, a power none can see.

احد زرگر بہ الفت، بنیۆو دیوانہٕ ژؠے پتھ

ژٕ گوہم ونتہٕ کس پتھ کرِتھ بزگار عشقو

Ahad Zargar ba ulfat, banyov dewaaneh chey path,

Chi govham wanteh kass path, karith bazgaar ashiqov.

Bazgaar: بزگار : Wine seller/Cup-bearer.
