دوھ لوگ درِ تہ دامبراہ پیووم

اوگُن ژیھوُم تہ بانہ نہ وأتی۔

سونتہ یہ ووُم، ھوردء تی لونُم

لونِتھ لوگُم پانس سأتی۔

Transliteration:

Doh log darre te daambrah pyovum,

Ogun chhewum te baane ne waeti.

Soante yi wowum, horde tee lonum,

Lonith logum paanas saeti.

Vocabulary:

Darre lagun: To stop

Daambur: Hearth

Ogun: Flame

Chhewun: To extinguish

Soant: Spring

Horud: Autumn

Translation:

The day stopped in its motion and I lit the hearth,

The flame extinguished and pots didn't come handy.

What I sowed in spring, in autumn that I harvested,

And the harvest accompanied me.

Explanation:

In the fag end of life, the obedience to God is like trying to prepare dinner when the day has already set. Whatever a person does in youth comes to his help in old age and also accompanies him to hereafter. So, better is to start preparing for hereafter in young age.
